Managing Director Ryan Mone took part in the first round of the Track Attack Club’s Deutsche Marques Championship on Sunday at Snetterton, in his Porsche 944 S2.
After qualifying in the dry and placing himself 13th on the grid, the forecasted rain arrived.
The rain subsided in time for Race One, however, with the circuit still very wet Ryan slipped back in the trying conditions to finish 16th, of 32 starters – 2nd in class.
Having rained again prior to Race Two, the circuit was damp with a drying line forming. After dropping down to 20th in the running on lap one, Ryan came through the pack to overhaul the class leader on the final lap and finish 1st in class and 12th overall completing consecutive best lap times on the way.
