After engine issues forced Rob to sit out the Silverstone and Oulton Park race meetings of the F1000 Championship, Rob returned to the track for the first time in a year at Snetterton.

Rob took a lights to flag win in the first race and in the second, reverse grid race was able to charge through from eighth place to take first by the fourth lap and pulled a massive lead to his rivals to seal his second win of the weekend.

Unfortunately he couldn’t complete the hat-trick in race three after dropping into the field following the start and retiring on the final lap following wheel to wheel contact with a competitor whilst making his way back toward the front. In a moment of sound sportsmanship, Rob, despite not sustaining any damage, parked his car and assisted his fellow competitor from his damaged car.

We look forward to the final race meeting of the season at Silverstone and wish Rob an equally strong result.
